HarbisonWalker International (HWI) Clipper DP Brick is a high-density, super-duty fireclay brick engineered for extreme heat and heavy-duty industrial applications.
- Material Composition: It is a 42% alumina, super-duty fireclay hard brick.
- Temperature Resistance: It can withstand temperatures up to approximately 3100°F (1700°C), with a pyrometric cone equivalent of 33.
- Strength: It offers exceptional strength under pressure with a modulus of rupture between 900 and 1600 PSI.
- Durability: The brick is noted for its low shrinkage, good resistance to thermal shock, high wear resistance, and ability to resist slag attack and hydrogen sulfide gas.
