Q: When does my product get shipped?
A: Most in-stock orders are shipped same-day if the order was received by 12:00 pm EST.  Large items that require Freight Carriers with ship within 2 Business days. 

Q:  I forgot my user ID or Password, how do I get it back?
A: Under “User Log In” please click on the “Forgot Password?” link and an email will be sent to you instantly with step-by-step instructions.

Q: What is your Return Policy?

A: We offer a 10-day money-back guarantee policy with no restocking fee unless it is a special order / non-stock item after receipt of shipment. Restocking fee is based on a number of business days between date of shipment and date received at Heat Treat Depot. All items must be in original packaging and in the same condition as ship to you.

Within 10 Days= No Restocking Fee
11-30 Days=15%
31-60 Days=25%
over 60 days=contact our HTD. 

Shipping and handling charges are Non-Refundable. Please request a RMA number prior to returning item.  Requests are to be sent to Returns@heattreatdepot.com

Q: What forms of Payment do you accept?
A: Currently we only accept credit cards, Paypal and Paypal credit for payment on Heat Treat Depot site. We do accept Purchase Orders and Bank Deposit/Wire transfers offline. For Purchase Orders and Wire Transfers please select this option during check out.  You will be given an order number and instructions on where to go from there.  Any questions please send a request to sales@heattreatdepot.com.

Q: What do I do if I received the wrong or defective product?
A:  Please request a RMA number prior to returning item.  Requests are to be sent to Returns@heattreatdepot.com 

Q: What is your warranty policy?
A: We honor all manufacturers’ warranties that are accompanied with the products we sell online that are new. Used and Surplus Parts carry a 90 day warranty covered by HTD.  Our policy is to replace, repair or prorate the product price if not available.  Damage by neglect or misuse is not covered by any manufacturer nor is it covered by ours.  Used Equipment is on a case by case basis.  All equipment is available to be previewed prior to purchase at our warehouse in Greenville, South Carolina.

Q: Why does Heattreatdepot.com charge sales tax for my state?
A: On June 21, 2018 the U.S. Supreme determined that the physical presence standard is no longer a requirement for a state to impose collection responsibility on sellers: South Dakota v. Wayfair. This means all sellers need to evaluate if they have an economic nexus in any state they ship to and must determine if they are responsible to collect sales tax. We are required to collect/remit sales taxes within states where an “economic nexus” has been established. Considering Heat Treat Depot ships nationwide, we are required by law to charge a sales tax fee in states where the company is considered a “remote seller”.  If your company is Tax exempt, please send certificate to accounting@heattreatdepot.com.

Q: Are Shipping Costs Refunded?
A: If the return is for a warranty-related issue, we will help facilitate the return to the manufacture.  Please request a RMA number prior to returning item.  Requests are to be sent to Returns@heattreatdepot.com and we will contact you within 48 hours. Generally no shipping costs will be refunded.
