The Wisconsin Oven Corp. 623-0053 Thermocouple is a 12-inch type K thermocouple that senses oven temperature.
Type K thermocouples have a wide operating temperature range and use a traditional base metal. The positive leg is non-magnetic, while the negative leg is magnetic. The accuracy of a type K thermocouple is generally a maximum of +/- 2.5 °C (36,5 °F) or +/- 0.75%, whichever is greater.
