- Type 1, Grade 1 (Cell Class 12454-B) meets ASTM D-1784.
- Approved by National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use with potable cold water.
- Meets ASTM D-2464 (threaded fittings).
- PTFE tape required for threaded fittings to prevent galling of threaded fittings and is necessary for leak-tight threaded joints.
- Meets ASTM D-2467 (socket fittings).
- Gray in color.
