Curtiss-Wright .875x1.5x.3125 Style 5000 Graphite Packing
Style 5000 is the most versatile, widely used packing material in the power generating industry today. It is manufactured from high strength and ultra-high purity graphite yarns. Lubrication and braid blockage is provided by high temperature graphite dispersion and PTFE locked in place by a proprietary process. An extra dense core provides dimensional stability throughout Style 5000’s working temperature and pressure range. Style 5000 works so effectively that it eliminates the need for wire insertion, which can cause stem damage. It has excellent sealing capabilities and extremely low frictional characteristics.
